Vehicle Window Tinting In Oxford

Window tinting provides you with a host of benefits, such as increased security and protection from the sun’s rays on a hot day, but it’s important that it is installed correctly. We have years of experience in tinting windows at our workshop here in Oxford. We’re so confident in our ability that we offer a lifetime guarantee on all vehicle tints, covering you if you notice any fading, bubbling or peeling.

We have a selection of different shades you can choose from, ensuring you get the exact look you want, and different shades don’t come at any extra cost. But that’s not all; our window tinting will not only improve the look of your vehicle, it will also give you an increased sense of security, preventing people from seeing inside your car. It will also prevent harmful UV rays from the sun from coming directly to you and excess heat from building up in your car on a hot day, providing a more comfortable driving experience.

If you’re looking to have your windows tinted in Oxford, come to the experts! We also won’t be beaten on price; if you can find a like-for-like service at a cheaper cost within a 30-mile radius, come to us, and we guarantee we can beat it.

The Benefits Of Window Tinting

Window tinting is useful for more than just giving your car that sleek and sporty appearance. Window tinting can provide you with a whole host of other benefits, such as:

Increased safety

If you are ever in an accident and the windows break, the window tinting film we use may spare you some extra injuries. Because of its sticky nature, it is great at holding broken glass and stopping it from shattering.

UV protection

Most people often forget that UV rays are very harmful to your skin. Glass doesn’t prevent these harmful rays from weakening and damaging your skin.

Preserving your car’s interior

Similarly to your skin, your car’s interior can be damaged by UV rays from the sun. Overexposure to heat and UV rays can cause your seats, dashboard and trims to crack and fade.

Increased privacy

Depending on the level of tint you choose, tinted windows have the ability to entirely prevent anyone from seeing inside, meaning any valuables left in your car are more protected.

Increased comfort

Blocking harmful UV rays also prevents heat from penetrating your car and turning it into an oven on a hot day. Tinted windows can help to keep your car significantly cooler and more comfortable.

Window Tinting FAQ

The below FAQ guide should answer most of your window tinting questions, if not just give us a call we are here to help.

Why should I get my car windows tinted?

There are lots of reasons to choose car window tinting, they don’t only look great but they also reduce heat into the vehicle keeping it cooler in sunlight. All our window tints come with a UV filter too.

Is car window tinting legal?

Yes absolutely! There is no law governing the tints of the rear windows of the car, however the law does state that the front windows must let through 70% of light and the windscreen must let through 75% of light. Our staff can guide you through this further.

Does my car have window tint fitted to the inside or outside?

All window tint is fitted to the inside of the car, although you may see in some photos us working on the outside, this is due to the ease of cutting and shaping the film on the outside of the glass first before your window tint is fitted to the inside of the car.

Do you need to take my car apart to tint it?

No, absolutely not! A skilled window tint installer, such as our staff, can tint a car without needing to take the door cards off or remove a fixed parcel shelf.

Can I choose the shade of my car window tinting?

Yes you can and this does not affect the price, we stock light smoke (70%) Mid smoke (50%) dark smoke (20%) and limo black (5%)

Do you offer a mobile service?

No and we do not recommend using any company that offers mobile window tinting. You simply cannot replicate the same high quality window tint working outside that you can in a professional workshop
